Lip color (also known as Lip Blushing) can be the best addition to add color to your entire face. Imagine a lip color that will not rub off or be left on the rim of a glass you’re drinking from. Permanent lip color is a great way to have the perfect lips all the time.
As we age, our lips can start to lose their defining border and natural color, almost blending into the complexion. Not only does this excellent treatment change the color of your lips, but it can help create symmetry by reshaping the lips as well as making your lips appear fuller without injectables.
You can wear lipstick over the permanent color to create a different or more dramatic look. Finally, you can feel like you’re wearing lipstick that stays where it should.

(* Permanent Cosmetics almost always requires a follow-up appointment to complete the procedure. This appointment will be scheduled during your first session, occurring 8 weeks later. A $150 touch-up fee includes any necessary perfecting/follow-up at your touch-up appointment.)
Lip color Pre-care:
- If you have EVER had a cold sore, you must take an anti-viral. Your doctor or dentist can prescribe this for you. Most start this medication (Valtrex) a few days before the lip procedure and continue for at least a few days after.
- For the best result, your lips should be well hydrated pre-procedure. You can gently exfoliate with a soft cloth and ointment, then apply a good lip moisturizer to prepare your lips for your new color.
Lip color Post-care:
- Frequently apply a thin layer of the provided ointment/balm throughout the day. Blot lips clean before reapplying. Lips heal best when hydrated to promote cell renewal.
- A few days after your procedure, your lips will start to exfoliate. This is normal. Do not pick or rush this process. Any color that comes off too soon may leave void or light areas once the healing is complete. Just blot and moisturize.
- After exfoliation, your healing is complete! The procedure can cause temporary dryness, so continue to hydrate. You new lip color is slowly blooming and will become more vibrant in a few weeks.
